Yes, yes, I know right! How come time flies by so fast? I thought it’s only Wednesday but – let’s say it together – thank God it’s Friday! I believe friends are starting to ask you to hang out with them tomorrow, and if you have a special someone, I bet they are also asking you for a date tomorrow. So are you going??
You might need to think where to go or what to eat tomorrow for the date and with all that going on, the last thing you want to have to worry about is what outfit to wear — however just be honest, it’s always the first thing that comes to your mind.
This is the article about how to dress when you are having a date on the next weekend. It is all about how to properly present yourself in a stylish kind of way to your girlfriend or boyfriend. Let’s start!
First I want to tell you something.. You know, sometimes I often find my friends who are a total jeans and t-shirt kind of person, like, they are not really into skirts. Personally I seldom wear skirts too but for some occasions or when I am in the girly kind of mood, skirts are everything to me.
That’s why, I chose a quite girly outfit this time for your date. This outfit will scream a feminine and really chic vibe — and just so you know, maybe you have not found out that skirts can spark your boyfriend’s interest and you will get more compliments from him.
So, I recommend you to combine a simple lace skirt with a nice long sleeved blouse (or jumper, knitwear, blouse, anything you like), because sometimes, simplicity is best. Don’t wear skirts that are too short because you don’t want to look too revealing. Wearing some accessories is always a must, this time I added a necklace with unique pendant and a quilted leather bag. The necklace and the bag can give you a really chic touch to the outfit.
Then, complete your dating-look with a pair of platform shoes. Don’t wear heels that are too high if you are not comfortable in it, and honestly they don’t really match with the outfit. So platform shoes or flats are perfect for this look. Your hair and makeup for a date should be natural, but with a touch of glamour, like a dark pink or red lipstick. Remember that a lot of guys don’t like to see your face caked in makeup.
That would be enough, however, back to the first topic, if you don’t feel comfortable wearing skirts you can easily change it to a pair of skinny jeans, and you are ready to go! Now for you guys. Seriously, I have always wished that girls can be as stylish as possible with just simple outfits like what guys are wearing. I know that sometimes an impression like ‘a good outfit’ is difficult to make, but really though, in my personal opinion, even if this one guy is only wearing a pair of skinny jeans and a shirt, but if the size and the colors fit perfectly with his body, I always find it attractive.
For dating, maybe you want to step it up a little bit, maybe you are a bit bored with your usual t-shirt and jeans kind of look, so I recommend you to wear a fitted short sleeved shirt and cover it up with with a nice jumper. Complete the look with a pair of denim shorts or chino shorts. See, just like what I said earlier, this look is simple but it’s still attractive.
And I always like it when a guy leaves his shirt untucked to peek out between the jumper and the pants, it’s so fashion forward. But if you don’t want to do it, just simply tuck in your shirt into your pants. Both look really good!
Next, the important thing you need to know about dating outfit is that, us – women — are obsessed with shoes, especially when it comes to our partner’s shoes. I don’t know how and I don’t know why, but we always judge a guy’s personality through his shoes. So remember to wear nice pair, like loafers, boat shoes, or boots, or just a simple sneakers (but make sure it is clean!).
This whole look will have you scored points and you don’t have to try too hard to impress your girl. (PRODUCTS: Green Baroque Print Shirt – Topman / Marled Jumper – H&M / Blue Grey Denim Shorts – Topman / 3-Eye Classic Lug Boat Shoes – Timberland)
So, I will remind you once again: dress for comfort. It means that you must be comfortable in whatever you are wearing. If you are uncomfortable, people can tell and it will make you less attractive.
Have a great weekend y’all!
